ORDERING

Online shopping at Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd is a fast and secure process. We have a growing range of contemporary furniture and accessories for the home. When you have found a product that you wish to buy, just click on the ‘Add to Cart’ icon to add it to your order (you will not have committed to buy at this stage). You can verify the items in your order at any time throughout your shopping session by clicking the ‘Show Cart’ link. You won’t have to buy the items and you can still cancel the order at this point in time. Should you wish to amend your selection, simply make your amends to the quantity required and click on the ‘update your shopping cart’ icon by the product you do not require in the ‘order cart’ page, the page will then automatically refresh itself. To continue shopping, either click on the ‘go back to item last viewed’ or click on any of the galleries to select additional items. You can return to your cart at any time from any of the individual product pages by either clicking the ‘show cart’ or ‘checkout’ icons. To complete your purchases, click on the ‘Checkout’ icon.

Your credit card or debit card details will then be required together with confirmation of the delivery address. Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Bank Transfers and Postal Cheque. Once payment has been made arrangements will be made for the delivery of the item/s.

Once you have successfully placed an order you will be sent an email confirming receipt and the details of your order. Your order represents an offer by you to purchase goods from us. Please note, it is the customer’s responsibility to check the confirmation email and notify us immediately of any errors. We will send a follow up email once the goods have been dispatched to you, and it is only at this point in time that we accept your offer, are bound to fulfill it and a contract is formed.

If you wish to cancel an order before the order has been processed please email us at Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd as swiftly as possible quoting your order reference number. If the order has already been acted upon you will need to follow the instructions on our Returns and Refunds Policy.

PRODUCT

We make every effort to ensure colours appear as realistic as possible. However due to the constraints of digital reproduction on different web browsers, we cannot guarantee exact colour match. Every care is taken to ensure descriptions and measurements are accurate, however variations may occur. Measurements are approximate and may vary according to the size of the item. If you are unsure you can either visit our showroom or (if available) we can arrange to send you a manufacturer’s brochure.

PRICE

The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in our website. You may be required to pay delivery charges at the checkout stage based upon what delivery service you select. For overseas delivery charges please email us with the delivery address and the items you wish to order and we will provide a quotation.
Payment

We accept most types of credit card online. If you would prefer to order by telephone please contact Asolo on 01423 568844. Payment must be made before the order will commence. Should non payment arise any outstanding amount will be charged interest daily at 3% above HSBC Bank PLC base rate.

TAXES

All purchases within the UK are subject to a VAT charge at 17.5%. The prices on our site are exclusive of VAT. Overseas orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches its destination country. We have no control over additional customs charges and as such, these charges are liable to be paid by the purchaser.

DELIVERY

The charges for postage and packing will be determined at the time of order.

We aim to dispatch all items within 4 - 6 weeks of accepting your order, but please allow up to 8 working weeks for your purchases to arrive. Please note that delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Special order items will take longer to deliver. You will be notified by e-mail once your goods have been dispatched from our warehouse at Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd. All products will be sent by recorded delivery or courier dispatch and will therefore require a signature upon receipt. Please note it may not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. Should delivery time be delayed we do not accept liability of any consequential loss. We will contact you if there is a delay or items are out of stock.

Should you wish for your order to be delivered to a country outside the UK mainland, please contact us at Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd for details of transportation costs. Goods delivered overseas may be subject to import duties and taxes. Such taxes will be payable when the goods reach their destination. The liability for payment of such customs duties rests solely with the client and Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd has no control or liability for them. Additionally please be aware that due to the high cost of shipping internationally the cost of delivery and return is not covered by Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd under any circumstances so purchases for delivery overseas are therefore made entirely at your own risk.

From the moment a carrier attempts to deliver the goods they are the Customer’s full responsibility and the Customer has to accept the goods when they are ready to be delivered.

Where the Customer does not comply with our attempts to deliver the goods we may, at our discretion, cancel the entire or part of the order and charge the Customer 10% of the total cost of the order to cover storage, shipping and insurance of the goods.

Normally deliveries do not include unpacking, assembly or installation. However, with prior agreement, Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd is able to offer a complete on-site installation service. The cost is subject to the size of the item and the also the delivery location. If you would like a quotation in advance, please email Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd for a quotation.

Retention of Title

The customer agrees that title shall transfer to the customer only when the goods have been paid for in full. Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd shall be entitled to require the customer to deliver up the goods until such time that all due payments have been made in full. The customer shall store the goods free of charge and in a manner to ensure the goods are safe from theft and damage.

Circumstances beyond our Control

Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd reserves the right to cancel, vary or suspend the operation of contracts of sales if events occur which are beyond our control including (and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) fire, floods, storm, plant breakdown, lock-outs, riots, industrial action which prevents entry to premises, hostilities, non-availability of materials or supplies or any event outside the control of Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd and Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd shall not be held liable for any breach of contract resulting from such an event.

Returns & Refunds
Our policy is to take anything back for whatever reason - within 30 days of delivery (or attempted delivery) and a full refund of the purchase price will be made within 28 days of the return subject to the following conditions being met:
1.1 The cost of returning the product(s) will be the responsibility of the Customer.
1.2 Where the items are large or fragile (as determined by us) we reserve the right to nominate a specialist furniture handler for return transit and pass the cost of shipment onto the client. This charge shall not exceed 10% of the item cost (UK only). This is to reduce the risk of damage to goods arising from poor handling. This transport charge will be charged each time the client accepts a returns collection date which the client subsequently fails to meet.
1.3 The client must contact us to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number and this, together with your Customer Id, must be displayed externally on the packaging.
1.4 In all cases for your protection the goods must be adequately packed in the original packaging to prevent damage.
1.5 Where the client has arranged transit the goods must be fully insured.

Harrogate, HG1 5AN, during normal office hours (9.00am-5pm Mon-Fri).
1.7 The goods are received by us in perfect condition, unused and re-marketable.
1.8 The rights under this section may not apply to trade or large volume orders. In such circumstances the purchaser will be made aware of this exclusion prior to the order being accepted.

WITHDRAWN/DISCONTINUED

In the event that an item is withdrawn, discontinued or changed by the manufacturer then Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd will offer an alternative or refund after informing the customer involved.

Damaged or Faulty

Please contact us immediately (within 3 days of package arrival) by calling (01423 564422) to discuss our returns procedures and to organise a replacement. Any claim regarding an item/s damaged or defective must be made initially by telephone or email, followed by a written claim. Inspect your purchases immediately upon receipt as no claim for replacement can be made after 3 days. The cost of returning the product (s) will be responsibility of the Customer who must insure the transit of the product(s), where applicable. In all cases the product(s) must be adequately packed in the original packaging to prevent damage.

Data Protection & Privacy
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. By registering your details on our website you consent to us storing and maintaining that information to process orders and to keep you up to date with our service (you can unsubscribe from this service at any time). We will not disclose this confidential information without your consent as we are committed to protecting your privacy. Your details will not be knowingly passed to a third party for their use in promotional purposes. Your details may be passed to a third party for the purposes of processing orders.
We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
The "Receive Updates" option on your details page can be switched off if you do not wish to receive promotional material from Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd. We will always give you the chance to refuse any marketing emails from us.
The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, email address, credit/debit card details. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening although this will prevent certain features from working. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you.

LIABILITY

Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd will not be liable for any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable by either party when the contract for sale was formed.

If the goods are not what you ordered, are damaged or defective, or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability unless you notify us of the problem within 3 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.

We shall not be liable for any defects in the goods caused by any act, neglect or default by you or any third party.

We shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question (minus any delivery charge).

Nothing in this Agreement shall limit ASOLO ITALIAN KITCHENS LTD's liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or breach of duty.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions are governed by English law, you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms and conditions or the contract between us.

Cancellation
12.1 To cancel an Order please contact us by telephone (01423 564422) or by email(info@asolobydesign.co.uk). An email will be sent to you as confirmation. After placing your order there is a short period of time where you have the ability to cancel items free of charge - usually before the order is sent to the factory (made to order) or shipped (stock items). Once the order has progressed beyond this point a cancellation charge will apply. This charge shall not exceed 10% of the item cost. If it is not possible to prevent your order from being dispatched you can return the product in line with our returns policy.
12.2 We reserve the right to cancel items ordered or an entire order for any reason whatsoever and will refund the full price paid for each cancelled item. In such circumstances we will endeavor to contact you without delay to explain why a cancellation was necessary.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
For overseas delivery charges please email us with the delivery address and the items you wish to order and we will provide a quotation. You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs permits, pay any import duties if applicable to import goods from our site. Further please be aware that due to the high cost of shipping internationally the cost of delivery and return is not covered by Asolo Italian Kitchens Ltd under any circumstances so purchases are therefore made entirely at your own risk.
